Arrangements for Cello and Piano transforms
traditional piano music by Schubert and
Brahms into new chamber music works for cello
and piano.
Matyas Hofecker is recognised as one of the
leading musicians among the younger
generation of jazz bassists in Europe. He has
toured with Harold Mabern Trio, recorded an
album with Sheila Jordan, and continuously
shares the stage with great musicians like Joe
Farnsworth, Jesse Davis, Pete Van Nostrand or
Jim Rotondi and he performs regularly around
Europe. He studied music at the Franz Liszt
Academy of Music in Budapest and in 2012, he
won a scholarship at University of Music and
Performing Arts, Graz.
Matt Home was born in Huddersûield and
switched from the trumpet to drums at the age
of eight. He studied jazz and popular music at
City London Centre of Music.
He has played with many leading musicians
including Alan Barnes, Claire Martin, Stacey
Kent, Atila, Brandon Allen, Allison Neale, Jim
Mullen, Dave Clif, Steve Fishwick, Matt Wates
and Nat Steele among others. He has also
played in clubs, theatres and jazz festivals
throughout Europe, Asia and South America. He
has recorded with Stacey Kent, Ray Gelato,
Karen Sharp, Matt Wates, Alex Garnett, Steve
Fishwick, Nigel Price Organ Trio, Gareth
Lockrane and Allison Neale.
